National Environmental Policy Act of 1969

Закон о национальной политике в области охраны окружающей среды 1969 года
Определяет основные направления государственной политики в области охраны окружающей среды. В соответствии с этим законом в структуре Исполнительного управления при президенте США [Executive Office of the President] был создан Совет по качеству окружающей среды [Council on Environmental Quality], готовящий рекомендации для главы государства по вопросам экологии и окружающей среды.
